Co-written by Blake and acclaimed songwriter David Stewart, the song is a deeply personal reflection on love’s ability to arrive when it is least expected, and most needed.

The inspiration for “Love Found Me” came from a simple conversation that became anything but. While recounting to a friend how he met his wife, Joy Sue, Blake was told, “I’m so glad you found love again.” His immediate reply “I wasn’t looking for love… love found me!” sparked the idea that soon became the song’s central hook.

“I told my friend, ‘That sounds like a song,’ and they said, ‘You’re right, it does,’” Blake recalls. “Not long after, I shared the idea with my songwriting buddy David Stewart in Buffalo, Wyoming. The next morning, he had about ninety percent of the song written. We made a few small tweaks, recorded a quick demo on his phone, and from there it just took on a life of its own.”

That life is heard vividly in “Love Found Me,” a song that captures the surprise, healing, and quiet joy of unexpected love. Blake’s warm, expressive lead vocal carries the lyrics with honesty and ease, complemented by Becky Buller’s harmony, which brings an emotional depth that elevates the story at its most tender moments.
