BIO

Greg Blake is a two-time IBMA Male Vocalist of the Year (2023, 2025) whose warm baritone and heartfelt delivery have earned him a place among the most respected voices in bluegrass today. Born and raised in West Virginia’s Appalachian hills, Greg’s music reflects the honesty and depth of his mountain roots. In addition to his award-winning solo work on Turnberry Records, he’s the lead vocalist and guitarist with the legendary band Special Consensus, featured on their 50th-anniversary Compass Records release Been All Around the World.

A seasoned performer, songwriter, and pastor turned touring musician, Greg is known for his ability to connect with audiences through songs that celebrate faith, family, and everyday life. His acclaimed albums—including People, Places and Songs and Songs of Heart and Home—have drawn praise for their sincerity, craftsmanship, and soaring harmonies. Whether on stage at a major festival or in an intimate listening room, Greg Blake delivers every note with conviction, heart, and a voice that feels like home.

Greg tours in various configurations including the Greg Blake Band, solo and music instructor appearances, and as lead vocalist with the multi-Grammy-nominated band, Special Consensus.
